Anthrax gueststarred in season 2 on the NBC TV-comedy "Newsradio".
I haven't seen this myself but the guy who sent me this piece of information
said it is hilarious. This is what i found about it when I searched the net:

Lisa Miller decides to get a job at MTV instead of her regular radio station duties.
Her first assignment, however, is with an interview with Anthrax.
Just as Jimmy (Stephen Root) decides it's time to find a wife, the object of his
affections a stuffy advertising executive (guest star Natalija Nogulich) visits
WNYX, but as confident as Jimmy is at work, his romancing skills leave something
to be desired. Meanwhile, after a dispirited Lisa (Maura Tierney) reflects on the
success of her younger siblings, she takes a temporary position at MTV, but an
interview with the band Anthrax (Anthrax band members, John Bush, Scott Ian
and Frank Bello guest-star as themselves) determines her future in this new arena.

Lisa: This is MTV news. I'm Lisa Miller filling in for Tabitha Soren.
We're here with Anthrax, whose latest album is in store now. Hi guys.
Anthrax: Hi.
Lisa: Now John, is there any guitar-work you're particularly proud of on this latest album?
John: You're gonna have to ask Scott about that cause he's the guitar player.
Scott: Hi, I'm Scott.
Lisa: Hi Scott.
Scott: Actually, the best guitar-work done on this album is done by our friend, Dimebag Darell.
Lisa: right, from Pan-er-ra.
John: It's Pan-te-ra.
Lisa: Well, you know, I have heard some critics saying that grunge music has seen it's day in the sun.
What do you guys think about that?
Scott: We're not a grunge band
Lisa: Oh well, I was listening to the album and it's pretty heavy
John: Well, just because something's heavy doesn't mean it's grunge.
Lisa: Okay, punk then, I dunno, you know what I mean. Like that sort of hard, aggressive. You know what I mean.
John: Industrial?
Lisa: Right! Industrial!
Scott: We're not industrial.
